Carter Witt

Carter is from the Washington, D.C area and graduated from CU Boulder with a BA in Psychology. She is now a masters student at The University of Texas Austin for clinical social work. Carter loves spending time outside any way she can, but especially loves to paddle whitewater and backpack. For hobbies not in the wilderness, she loves coaching and playing basketball and soccer, and training for triathlons. Her pup Sundae joins her on every adventure she can! Through Untapped, Carter is excited and grateful for the opportunity to encourage students to realize their full potential and see how much they can grow through their own intentionality, in academia and far beyond.

Hear more from our community

I refer my clients to Untapped Learning because they have created an ideal system for students with ADHD to be successful and meet their personal and academic goals. They don’t put a bandaid on the challenges that they face – instead, Untapped gives students tools that they can use for a lifetime.

Stacy Hernandez College Counselor

Untapped Learning’s students have responded overwhelmingly well to their lessons about how the brain works and how to improve their executive function skills. They continue to provide their students with the tools they need to feel empowered and ready to navigate school and adolescence. This is what we want education to achieve.

Andrea Clyne School Psychologist

I have had the pleasure of working with Untapped Learning for years. They have developed a unique style of executive function coaching based on the Spark model developed at Harvard University. Untapped Learning teaches students the “rules of school” and holds them accountable with weekly tasks. They also reinforce the use of movement as a way to harness executive function skills. Untapped’s work frees parents to more peacefully coexist with their children. I highly recommend them as an executive function coach for families that are looking for a program that works!

Dr. Marcy Cooper Psychiatrist

As a pediatric neuropsychologist, I am often referred patients in need of support with various aspects of executive functioning. I commit extensive research into the resources in our community to best understand how to serve those needs. Untapped Learning is a great example of wraparound support that can tailor services to the goals and style of each individual family. I have referred many patients to Untapped Learning over the years and continue to be grateful for their commitment to student empowerment and growth. They are an excellent resource for this community!

Dr. Zach Sussman Neuropsychologist

I’ve been amazed since my first visit to Untapped Learning with how genuine the focus is always first and foremost on every student’s spirit, individuality, and self-worth. Brandon Slade and his team not only know their stuff, but they work so very hard to adapt their knowledge to each individual to help each student become life-long learners and happy adults. Not only have my children prospered from learning executive function skills, but I have begun using those skills in my personal and professional life to great significance. My kids won’t head off to college without first spending time with Brandon’s team.

Matt Rogers Parent

I am a pediatric neuropsychologist and have been referring children and families to Untapped for years. A few years ago, my own son started there. We had a terrific experience. His mentor was amazing. He had contact with other mentors, as well, and he always felt connected and impressed by those folks, too. While he learned quite a bit about organization and planning, what was most important (and unexpected) was how the relationships he built there helped him connect to the importance of school, and following through with academic work and responsibilities. I continue to enthusiastically recommend Untapped. It is really a great program and an excellent team.
